We would like to draw your attention to the following conditions:

The person reading these conditions agrees to inform all members of his group of such conditions and accepts the responsibility to ensure that all members conform to the stipulations provided here.

Right of admission

Right of admission is reserved. Any person who misbehaves, in the opinion of the resort manager or a relevant staff member, will be required to leave the resort on request. Admission fees will not be refunded.

Fireworks

The use of fireworks is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Adult supervision

The responsibility of proper supervision over infants, toddlers and children rests with the person in whose care they enter the resort.

Own risk

All facilities at the resort are used at the visitor's own risk, in particular the swimming pool, trampolines and water slide. The ATKV does not accept responsibility for any injuiries or damage that may result from visitor's using these facilities, or for any other injuries or damage visitors may suffer at the resort. Visitors participate in group activities arranged at or by the resort at their own risk.

Personal property

All personal property is brought along to the resort at a visitor's own risk. The resort shall not be held liable for the theft or loss of any such property.

Peace and quiet at the resort

Visitors are requested to respect the peace and tranquility of the environment and to refrain from playing music or musical instruments too loudly. After 23:00 absolute silence must be upheld at the resort.

No eating, drinking or smoking is allowed at any of the swimming pools. No alcoholic beverages may be taken into areas around the swimming pools. All units and public areas are non-smoking areas and all visitors are urgently requested to refrain from smoking in these areas.

Equipment in units

Visitors are responsible for all equipment in units leased to them and are required to refund the resort for any breakages or theft during their stay.

Occupation times

Arrival times: Units and camping from 15:00.
Departure times: Caravans before 10:00 and units at 10:00.

Road safety

Please drive carefully on all roads at the resort and keep to the speel limit of 20 km per hour.

Breakages or faults on the premises

All visitors are requested to report any breakages of faults discovered on the premises to management immediately.

Refuse

No empty bottles, containers or other refuse may be left behind on the premises. Please place them in the containers provided for this purpose.

Keys

Visitors are required to hand in the keys to their units at reception or to the security guard at the gate on departure.

Restrictions at the resort

Pets, motor cycles or any petrol or battery-operated and unlicensed vehicles are not allowed at the resort. Abusive language, including swearing and hate speech, is strictly prohibited.

Fires

Fires are only allowed in the allocated braai areas. No fires may be made on the ground.

Discrimination

Any discrimination against a person on account of race, sex or religion is not allowed.

Use of liquor

The use of liquor is restricted to dwelling units and the restaurant. Liquor may not be consumed in any other area at the resort.

Bicycles and skates

Bicycles and skates are not allowed at the swimming pools or the area around the shop.

Wild life

Visitors are urgently requested not to feed any wild animals such as dassies (if any), as this disrupts their natural feeding habits.

Gazebos

To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all, we request that no gazebos be erected around the swimming pool area. Only beach umbrellas will be allowed so that all visitors will be able to find a spot on the lawn surrounding the swimming pools.

Conditions of stay or visit

1. The owner, his representatives, employees or anymore who endeavours to act on behalf of the owner shall not be responsible for:

1.1 any loss of or damage to the property of any guest, resident or visitor, whether such damage or loss was caused by fire or theft or otherwise, or by negligence or the wrongful act of anyone employed by or acting on behalf of the owner, or the owner himself.

1.2 any personal injuries of any nature sustained by a guest, resident or visitor, whether such personal injuries were sustained through negligence or wrongful act of any person employed by the owner, the owner himself or, alternatively, to the extent that such injuries may have been caused by defective equipment, property or appliance of the owner.

2. Any person who signs the register and who is accompanied by any other person/visitor exempts the owner from any liability towards such other persons, including guests who accompany the person in instances provided in the conditions under paragraphs 1 (1.1) and (1.2). These persons shall be regarded as having confirmed that they were aware of such exemption.
